About

Hi, I’m Sarah! I love Jesus, my husband and my two little ones. I work from home full time as a dietitian while also caring for my children. I’m a mom who was inspired to start a blog in an attempt to let other moms know that they are not alone. I desire authenticity, vulnerability and I want to get real.

If you’ve experienced some of the hardships of motherhood such as: sleep deprivation, mom guilt, loss of identity or loneliness then this blog is for you. Perhaps you’ve thought to yourself, the hardest part about being a mom is being a wife, then this blog is for you. Maybe you wish someone would simply ask how you are doing and acknowledge you exist, then this blog is for you. This by no means is an exhaustive list of every hardship motherhood brings, but I hope together we can discuss and learn from them.

My hope is that through this blog, a community can be built. One that isn’t afraid to talk about the hardships of motherhood. Frankly, I believe we need to talk more about our struggles as moms. I hope that ultimately we can link arms, pick one another up and realize that we can do this!

Being a mom is hard and that is ok. It’s ok to feel mom guilt, it’s ok to mourn the loss of your old self and embrace your new identity as a mom and it’s ok to admit that the hardest part about being a mom is being a single parent with no support. Let’s talk about it. We certainly like to talk about all of the good times we have as moms. I think society is missing the fact that we also need to talk about our struggles as moms.

So, grab a cup of coffee or your favorite beverage and let’s start meditating…
